About Me

My own chronic health challenges prompted me to find alternative and complementary medicine. I first learned Usui Reiki in 2007, received my Reiki Master training in 2011, and started my first small business- The Reiki Rose LLC- in 2012. Reiki helped me so much that I wanted to give back and pay that healing forward to others. This feeling led me to learn Karuna Reiki in 2013, and inspired me to dedicate myself to the healing arts.

I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Healthcare- a unique program that provided education about both western and eastern systems of health. Intrigued by the depth of knowledge and history in Eastern traditions, I started receiving regular acupuncture and taking Chinese herbs. The results I saw in my own health absolutely changed my life for the better, and I knew I had to learn more!

I completed a 2800+ hour, 3.5 year program at Colorado School of Traditional Medicine, graduating with a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine with a dual focus of acupuncture and herbalism. I'm nationally board certified by NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and licensed to practice in the state of Colorado.

Currently, I specialize in treating such conditions as: emotional wellness (stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD); digestive issues; women's health (from menses to fertility to menopause); managing chronic illness; fatigue; sleep problems; aches and pains; and overall energy balancing. This is an LGBTQ+ safe space and inclusive business.
